Dr. Ashique Hydher Ali is blessed with astonishing skill. He did his schooling from Thirumala Devasom Higher Secondary School (TDHSS) Alappuzha, And thereafter Government Model Vocational Higher Secondary School (GMVHSS) Ambalapuzha. He was a budding craftsman, an artist and moreover the most Creative person ever. As a young boy he was able to create wonders with his hand. The wide range of things he had taste into varies from custom-made diaries, calendars to breath taking visiting cards, thanks giving cards, personalized invitations etc.
By 2004 he joined for Bachelor of Physiotherapy at School of Medical Education (SME) regional centre, Thevara. Always with the passion to explore the creative things, hand printing, designing banners and various event planning became his favorite pastime. Later he graduated with excellent training in Physiotherapy at Al-Shifa Super Specialty Hospital, Perinthamanna. After getting a degree he started his service at Lourde Hospital Taliparamba, Kannur District as well as EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital, Perinthalmanna as a trained Physiotherapist, but been a multi tasker he always as pired and created many carpentry works, ceramic design in the most innovative and profitable way. He created magical chairs and table from reusable house hold items; there by building treasure from trash. Customise items in a most comfortable way.
He has greater contribution as a concept designer in one of the most reputed firms. With his extra ordinary abilities he was able to create each concept per day through his designs; it marked a signature and was a stepping stone to his career.
For a short period he was part of R&D development as well as in Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (IMHANS) Community Development Disability Program (CDDP). For three month he was part of Prime Time Events and Brands Ltd, Kochi as a Concept Designer. Later he worked as a design researcher at Nilambur Furniture Pvt. Ltd, Kochi, where he discovered new areas in designing furniture’s. Through his creative perspective he was able to create the finest designs which are low cost as well as trendy.
He joined National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kannur at 2013 for doing his master degree i.e., Master of Design Space (M.Des) specialized in Design for special needs/ Space & interactive design and has bagged NIFT extraordinary service award at 2015. His creativity has marked a way and has helped him attain an award for the best product made out of waste contest.
With his in depth knowledge in physiotherapy and his proficiency in designing have helped him to experiment ERGONOMICS and attain deeper knowledge in order to create history in Physiotherapy. Due to his caliber in designing and experience in physiotherapy has provided him to endow the most promising solutions as per the need of the customers.
He attained international training in wheelchair provision as per World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines with a sponsorship of Motivation UK, and Mobility India Bangalore, as a trained Wheelchair Service Training Professional he excels in providing best possible solutions for the needed. He is a one who could provide endless solutions through his evolutionary designs and his research in ergonomics helped him provide excellent contribution towards society.
He has also trained World Health Organization (WHO) Palliative Care Program as a part of department training of National Health Mission (NHM) Alappuzha, under Government of Kerala, Health Services Department. He received an award from Smt. K.K. Shailaja Teacher, Minister of Health, Kerala on 2019 for best performer in Assistive Technology Exhibition as part of World Cerebral Palsy Day Celebration at Trichur conducted by National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (NIPMR) Kallettumkara.
